Phone screen repair cost in Sydney: 2026 price guide
A cracked screen quote in Sydney can land anywhere from $100 to $500, and the gap is rarely about the shop's rent. It is the panel grade, the model, and what else broke with the glass. Here is what the market actually charges in 2026, what moves the price, and how not to get stung by the cheapest quote.
What Sydney shops typically charge in 2026
These are typical Sydney market ranges we see across the industry, not our fixed prices. Your exact quote depends on the model, the panel grade and the condition of the rest of the phone.
Recent iPhones
Current and last couple of generations, fitted with genuine or OEM-grade panels.
$250 TO $450typical Sydney market range
Older iPhones
Models a few generations old. Parts are plentiful, so prices drop sharply.
$120 TO $250typical Sydney market range
Recent Samsung Galaxy S series
AMOLED panels cost more to make, so Samsung flagships sit at the top of the market.
$250 TO $500typical Sydney market range
Older or mid-range Androids
Pixels, Oppos, older Galaxies and the like. Usually the cheapest screens to replace.
$100 TO $200typical Sydney market range

The three things that move the price
Two shops quoting the same phone $150 apart are almost never charging different labour. They are fitting different parts, and only one of them is telling you.
Panel grade
Genuine and OEM-grade panels match the original for colour, brightness and touch response. Budget aftermarket panels are dimmer, drain more battery and crack easier. When a quote is suspiciously cheap, the panel grade is where the money came out, so make the shop name the grade before you say yes.
Model age and parts availability
Screens for a brand-new flagship are scarce and expensive. Two or three generations on, the same repair can cost half as much because parts are everywhere. This is why the ranges above spread so widely within one brand.
What else broke with the glass
A bent frame, smashed back glass or damaged housing adds parts and bench time on top of the screen itself. A proper diagnosis catches this before you commit, not after the phone is in pieces.
How we quote it
The ranges above are the market. Here is how we make sure you never pay for a mystery panel.
Free diagnosis
We check the screen, the frame and the rest of the phone first, so the quote covers everything and nothing surprises you later.

Your quote states the exact panel grade going into your phone, in writing, before any work starts. No fix means no fee.
Workmanship warranty
The part and the fitting are both covered. If something is not right, bring it back and we make it right.

Screen repair cost questions
How much does it cost to fix a phone screen in Sydney?
In Sydney a phone screen repair costs $69 to $240 fitted at our bench, depending on the model. An iPhone SE, 7 or 8 screen is $69, an iPhone 13 is $90, an iPhone 15 Pro Max is $100 and an iPhone 16 Pro Max is $100. Samsung Galaxy A series and mid-range Android screens start at $70 and Galaxy S series at $240. Every price includes the replacement panel, the labour and our workmanship warranty. Most other Sydney shops charge $99 to $450 for the same models.
How long does a screen replacement take?
Most screen replacements are done same day. For common models with the panel in stock it is usually around an hour on the bench. Less common models may need a panel ordered in, and we confirm the timeframe with your quote.
Is it cheaper to repair a phone or buy a new one?
For most phones under about four years old, repairing the screen costs a fraction of replacing the phone and you keep your data, apps and settings exactly as they are. On very old or low-value handsets the maths can tip the other way, and we will tell you honestly at the free diagnosis if a repair is not worth it.
Will a screen repair wipe my data?
No. A screen replacement swaps the display hardware only and never touches your storage, so your photos, messages and apps stay exactly where they are. We still recommend a current backup as good practice with any repair, but the repair itself does not wipe anything.
Do you use genuine or aftermarket parts, and what warranty do I get?
We fit aftermarket incell and soft OLED panels, which is how the fitted price stays this low, and your fixed quote names the exact panel grade before any work starts so you always know what is going in your phone. Genuine and OEM-grade panels can be sourced on request and are quoted separately. Every repair is covered by our workmanship warranty, and if we cannot fix it you pay nothing.
